AFTER the Covid Grinch stole Christmas, the Derwent Valley festivities are back in full in December. Having been absent for two years, the New Norfolk Christmas Parade and Fair, organised by Rotary, will be held with a promise it will be the biggest yet.
The event will be held on Saturday, December 10.
“We’re working behind the scenes to make it the biggest yet, and we want to hear from you if you would like to participate in the parade, hold a stall at the fair, or volunteer to help out on the day,’’ a Rotary spokesperson said.
And if that isn’t enough to get you in the Christmas spirit, the Lions Club will host Carols in the Park on Friday, December 9.
The Gazette will bring more details as we get closer to December.
