CORUMBENE staff have been recognised with a series of awards for their work in key areas of teamwork, respect, encouragement, honesty and stewardship.

Corumbene HR Officers Karinda Green and Dr Vanmathi Anbanandan announced the awards at a recent ceremony. “We have received the most nominations ever, including whole teams,’’ Ms Green said. “This is testimony to the dedication and team spirit of our staff.’’

Chief Operations Officer Julie Purves said Corumbene would now host the awards quarterly rather than annually.

Business Development Manager Peter Woodhouse said the past three years of living through the Covid pandemic had been tough and fatiguing for all. “A lot of the recognition today talks of the outstanding work done through that time for our teams and individuals,’’ Mr Woodhouse said.
