THE New Norfolk District Football Club 1972 Under-17 Premiership team will be holding a 50- year reunion on Saturday, July 23, at the NNDFC Club Rooms on Back River Rd, New Norfolk.

The event will start at 11am and anyone who wishes to attend can contact former player Les Campbell on 0421192285. Back in 1972 the team defeated Clarence by nine points.

The team was coached by Gordon Cooper and captained by Eddy Brittian. At the time this was the club’s second U/17 premiership win, the previous flag coming in 1968 when New Norfolk defeated Clarence by seven points.
