New padding puts juniors’ safety first

NEW, custom-made protective padding has been added to the new goal posts at Tynwald Park, allowing the New Norfolk Junior Football club to safely play its home games there this season.

Noble Ventures Director Daniel Noble said The Mills was thrilled to give back to the community and get behind a local and junior development group by sponsoring the purchase of the padding. “Clubs like the NNJFC are the soul of this community and provide immense pride and opportunities for its locals through improving wellbeing and community opportunities,” Mr Noble said.

New Norfolk Junior Football Club registrar Justin Benson welcomed the support for the club. “We wish to convey our heartfelt thanks for the investment and support shown by Noble Ventures in supporting our small community club,” Mr Benson said. “It’s great to have new goal posts but without the required safety padding they couldn’t have been used.

“Not only does the padding allow for play to continue, but it also gives a big sense of club pride on game days with the club’s colours, club logo and sponsors logo proudly on display in a custom design.”
